Something in your business should work better.

We build websites, custom applications, and AI tools for small businesses whose day-to-day runs on workarounds.

Custom software. Smarter business systems.

Nashville, Tennessee. Working with businesses locally and remotely.

Sound familiar?

You probably aren’t looking for another piece of software. You’re looking for a fix to one of these.

  • Missed opportunities

Leads come in, but nobody has a reliable way to follow up.

  • Disconnected systems

Important information lives in several places, so someone spends hours copying it between them.

  • Outdated processes

Tasks that should take minutes take hours, every week.

  • Software that doesn’t fit

Your team has workarounds for the software you pay for.

Services

Websites that work

Custom websites and landing pages that explain what you do clearly and make it easy for the right people to get in touch.

For example: a services page that answers the usual questions and sends every inquiry to one inbox with the details you need.

Custom business applications

Dashboards, registration systems, and internal tools built around the way your team already works.

For example: a dashboard that shows the week’s bookings and open tasks in one place.

Automation and integration

Connect the tools you already pay for so information moves on its own and fewer tasks depend on someone remembering.

For example: a website inquiry lands in your customer list and starts a follow-up email without anyone retyping it.

AI implementation

Find the places in your daily operations where AI saves time, and set it up so your team can rely on it.

For example: drafting first replies to common customer questions for a person to review and send.

How it works

  1. Tell us what’s not working.

Start with a free 20-minute call about your business and the problems you’re dealing with.

  2. We figure out what’s worth fixing.

We look at what can realistically be improved, then outline the solution, scope, and cost.

  3. We build it and get it working.

Once you approve the plan, we build, test, and launch what we agreed on.

  4. We keep it running.

Ongoing support is available on a monthly plan.

Selected work

These are working systems we’ve built, shown with client names and branding left out. Each one has a short hands-on preview you can try.

Live event guest platform

The problem
A Nashville cocktail workshop company relied on an outside event app for its classes and private events. Guest details and photos lived on someone else’s platform, and recipes had to be sent out by hand.
What we built
A phone app guests open by scanning a QR code. Each guest builds their drink step by step, gets a named recipe by email, and adds photos that a moderator approves for a live on-screen wall.
What it does
Keeps every guest and photo in one place and sends each guest their recipe. In use at the company’s live events.

Community campaign and event registration

The problem
A Nashville chapter of a national hospitality professional association was launching its first annual community gathering. It needed to explain why the gathering mattered and fill five small roundtable discussions, each capped at 12 seats, without managing sign-ups by hand.
What we built
A storytelling campaign site about the chapter’s community and programs, plus a separate registration site where each attendee picks a roundtable. Seat counts update live, and each table closes on its own when it fills.
What it does
Captures registrations and turns them into usable guest lists.

Artist booking and intake portal

The problem
An independent music venue’s talent buyer was juggling show requests across email and a calendar, chasing each band for agreements, sound details, and promo files, then re-entering confirmed shows by hand.
What we built
A portal where artists pick an open date from the venue’s calendar, then use one private link to sign the performance agreement, send their sound and ticketing details, and upload flyers and promo assets. A progress tracker shows both sides what’s done and what’s next.
What it does
Collects complete submissions and organizes them for review.

About Format Strategics

Format Strategics builds software for small businesses, starting from how the work gets done today.

We start by looking at how information moves through your business today and where it gets stuck.

The answer might be a better website, a connection between tools you already pay for, or something built from scratch. Our job is to figure out which one, then get it working.

What’s the one thing in your business you wish worked better?

You don’t need to know what software you need. Tell us what’s causing problems, and we’ll tell you whether it’s worth fixing and what it would take.
